
If you plan on “borrowing ideas” or plan for creating your own landscape design, you must have at least basic knowledge of the principles of landscape design. That does not mean you have to use all of the principle that each part of your plan. But just understanding these principles will help you generate ideas and increase their creativity. Great landscaping lies in the eyes of its creator. And while the principles of landscape design is a great follow instructions, do not feel they “should rule on the landscaping. Abstract and creativity are allowed. Unity should be one of your main goals in its design. It may be better understood and applied consistency and repetition. Repetition creates unity by repeating elements such as plants, plant groups, or any landscape décor. Consistency is unity in the sense that some or all of the different elements fit together to create a whole landscape. Unity can be achieved by unity of nature in construction. By nature, I mean height, size, texture, color schemes, etc. of different elements. A good example would be the use of accent boulders. If you’ve ever seen a landscape design that had a big stone round white stone here and another large red square granite there, and so on, then you see that unity is not created that particular element. This is just one example, but the principle applies to all other elements, such as groups of plants and materials. A simple way to create unity in the landscape, the creation topics. Creating a theme garden is easier when there is something you are interested, or have a passion for politics.
